How do I shake the ball?
Simply shake your iPhone! The app uses your phone's motion sensors to detect shaking. Give it a good shake and watch the answer appear.
Why isn't shake detection working?
Make sure you've granted motion access when prompted. You can check this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness → Fate Shake. Also, shake with a firm motion - gentle tilts won't trigger it.
What are rare answers?
Each character has special "rare" answers that only appear 5% of the time. They're marked with a golden glow! Keep shaking to discover them all.
How do I change characters?
Tap on the character name at the top of the main screen. This opens the character selection where you can choose from 6 free characters or unlock 6 premium legendary characters for $1.99.
How do I clear my history?
Go to Settings (gear icon at the bottom) and tap "Clear History". This will delete all your past answers.
Is the app really free?
The app includes 6 free characters with no ads! You can unlock 6 additional premium legendary characters for a one-time purchase of $1.99. All themes and features are available to everyone.
Does the app need internet?
No! Fate Shake works completely offline. Your fortunes are always accessible, even in airplane mode.

How do I share my answers?
After getting an answer, tap the share button to create a beautiful share card. You can post it directly to Instagram, TikTok, Messages, or save it to your photos.
Can I restore my premium purchase?
Yes! If you reinstall the app or switch devices, go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your premium characters. If you have any issues, please contact us.
